Naive
I was just talking to my mom about this the other day... I am very child-like in my trust and love, I'm very willing to give, very open and honest and really dont have a hidden agenda. I don't have a lot of experience. I don't carry around the scars that others carry around because I lack experience that others seek out... I am not calloused by the world and the bad shit that happens. Why do people go out of their ways to hurt other people or put them down or obtain scars that are unnecessary? Why run head on into something that you are totally aware will absolutely fuck you up if you could avoid it and save yourself the pain? Why play with people that aren't playing? Why manipulate someone to love and trust you purely for game or for the power to break another person? Peoples hearts and heads are not for sport. Peoples lives are not a game. There is no reset button. I am inexperienced and I bare deep but very few scars. I like it that way. When I love someone, I throw myself into it with everything I am. When I trust someone, I am not suspicious or paranoid that they are injecting my back with Novocain so that I won't feel the piercing blade in my back until it has already made the cut. I know these are both strengths and weaknesses... but I know that I would rather be this person than the person capable of the stabbing, capable of the manipulating and game playing, or calloused because I walked out into the traffic and let the world run me over repeatedly. I'm a watcher. I observe and retain. I watch people gain certain experiences and decide if I want that or not. I watch and let other people make big mistakes and I learn from their mistakes. No need to make certain mistakes in my own life if I don't like what they did to other peoples lives. I'm not saying that I don't make mistakes of my own, because I'm human, I do. I'm saying that I choose (after too much thought and stress) my mistakes based on what I believe will benefit my life. This is what works for me... its not for everyone, but its the way I choose to live my life and the person I choose to be.
